Lightbox Help For help with searching click here. Creating and Naming Lightboxes In the sidebar of this page, you may create and name an unlimited number of lightboxes once you have registered. Type the name of your new lightbox in the Name and Create Lightbox field and click create. Creating multiple lightboxes is useful for categorizing and saving your image choices by subject, time period, or attribute. If you do not need to create multiple lightboxes, your default lightbox will be called My Lightbox, which you can rename by clicking the organize lightbox button to navigate to the Organize Lightbox page and clicking the rename button. You can use the Organize Lightbox page to rename any of your lightboxes. For additional help with renaming lightboxes or the Organize Lightbox page, click here. Selecting a Lightbox If you have not created any additional lightboxes, your lightbox will always remain selected. After creating multiple lightboxes, you can choose the one you want to view by clicking on the Select Lightbox drop-down menu. The images in your lightbox will be shown in the Lightbox section of the sidebar. To display your selected lightbox in the body of the page, click display lightbox. Displaying your Lightbox You can display your selected lightbox by clicking on the Lightbox link at the top of your screen, or by scrolling down and clicking the display lightbox button in the sidebar. Adding an Image to your Lightbox Search results are displayed in the body of this page. To add an image to your lightbox, click the icon. Holding your mouse arrow over this icon will remind you that this button adds an image to your lightbox. The image will either be added to the end of your lightbox or the beginning, depending on the order you have selected in the sidebar. Order of Adding Images Select Add to Beginning in the sidebar to add each new image to the top of your lightbox. Select Add to End in the sidebar to add each new image to the bottom of your lightbox. Previewing an Image To view a larger, Preview version of an image in your Search Results, click on the image or click on the icon. From the Preview page you can conduct searches based on the keywords associated with an image, order a high-resolution version of an image, and move an image to your lightbox by clicking the icon. To search for related images, check the box(es) adjoining the keyword(s) to conduct a new search with the selected word(s), and click go. The more boxes you check, the more detailed the search. To order a high-resolution version of an image, click on the Order High Res link to navigate to the Order page. You may also view a Preview or order a high-resolution image from your displayed lightbox. Clicking an image in the Lightbox section of the sidebar will show a larger version of an image with any notes that you may have added to it, but you cannot conduct searches or order images from the lightbox preview. Downloading a Preview Image To download a watermarked preview, right click on the image on the Preview page and choose "Save Picture As ..." or place your mouse over the image and click the save button that appears in the left-hand corner of the image. Internet Explorer should be used to download images.
